Love in San Miguel + TEDxSanMigueldeAllende
A Signature Love in San Miguel Experience
Saturday, October 24 | 10 AM–5 PM | Hacienda La Casona
This one is for everyone. Singles. Couples. Friends. Love in San Miguel members and people who haven't joined.
We invite the San Miguel community for a full day at TEDxSanMiguelDeAllende to support our Co-Founder, Araceli Kopiloff, as she takes the TEDx stage.
The conference features 10 speakers and two performing artists, with talks in English and Spanish and simultaneous interpretation.
Our Co-Founder Araceli Kopiloff is taking the TEDx Stage!
After losing both her father and her only son, Araceli created a practice she calls “relocating love”: redirecting the love and acts of care she could no longer give them toward others who needed them.
Her proposed talk, “Where Does Love Go When Someone Dies?”, explores a powerful idea: death may end a life, but it doesn’t have to end the love. That love can continue through how we care for others.
Come help us fill the room and cheer her on.

¡Suéltalo! August 2 — Our First Community Gathering
More than 50 people came together for our first Suéltalo, a free gathering open to the entire Love in San Miguel community.
We met new people, walked through nature to La Presa, shouted out the things we wanted to let go of, and ended with one enormous collective scream that echoed across the lake.
Then we practiced Tai Chi, enjoyed an impromptu salsa lesson, and spent the afternoon surrounded by nature, enjoying some of the best wood-fired pizza and craft beer in San Miguel.
Tables were organized around shared interests — live music, dancing, books, animals and more — so everyone could find their people.
Numbers were exchanged, plans were made, and by the end of the afternoon, new groups, friendships and connections had begun.
That’s what Suéltalo is all about.
Nature. Connection. Community. And finding people to share the things you love with.
Our next Suéltalo is Sunday, October 4 Come join us! CLICK HERE.
Our Launch Event • July 7
What an incredible beginning! More than 60 people joined us for our very first Love in San Miguel gathering, with over 200 more on the waiting list.
We laughed, learned, made new friends, and explored conscious relationships and intentional dating with renowned psychologist and bestselling author Dr. Elisha Goldstein.
Most exciting of all was seeing our bilingual, bicultural community come to life. More than half of our guests were native Spanish speakers, and simultaneous translation made it possible for everyone to participate fully.

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING
AR
“From minute one, Audrey acknowledges that it’s not easy putting ourselves out there (again). I’ve felt supported and understood beyond a typical client-provider relationship, and that shines in every event. The curated dinner was thought out to incite substantial conversations through storytelling. That alone made this a memorable night out. Every participant put real effort into the conversation. Not just listening, but asking thoughtful questions too. Nobody sleptwalked through the night, which explains why it was easier to connect. I left with many new friends. I would love to join again.”
GM
“The format of cleverly moving us around worked very well. I met some very interesting people and I’ll most likely be seeing them again in the near future. I’m happy to say I’m already meeting one of them for lunch tomorrow. Thank you for helping me get out of my shell.”
CD
“I really enjoyed the curated dinner with Love in San Miguel. What made it so different was the way the evening was structured, with preset questions and stories to get conversations started, and guests moving between tables after each course. It took away that usual awkwardness and made it really easy and natural to talk, laugh and get to know lots of different people throughout the evening. Rather than spending the whole dinner with the same group, every course brought new conversations and new connections, which made the evening feel fun, relaxed and genuinely unique. It was a lovely way to meet an interesting mix of people and definitely much more memorable than simply going out for dinner.”
SG
“What a spectacular evening! I met such interesting, fun and respectful people. The organization and coordination were outstanding. The food was delicious. You could hear laughter and joy coming from the tables. So, so much fun! I can’t wait for the next one. Thank you for helping us connect with our tribe!”
VG
“I think the people were really interesting. You did an amazing job trying to find people that might fit together. It was a really good mix of the international community as well as the Mexican community, with similarities but also a lot of differences. I definitely think the experience was worth the price. I would definitely do it again. I think it’s a unique experience here in San Miguel, and I’m so glad that you brought it here. I also really appreciated the privacy. This is a small town, and not taking a bunch of pictures of us was great.”
MV
“I had a chance to connect with a number of people that I believe will remain friends in the near future. I would say that this was a great opportunity to connect with a like-minded group of people, curious and in search of their next chapter. I particularly enjoyed the conversation dynamic designed by Audrey and Araceli, which promoted a deeper and more meaningful level of engagement. I anticipate long-lasting friendships emerging from this experience.”
SD
“I greatly enjoyed attending Love in San Miguel’s dinner! The venue was intimate, the food was fantastic, and the company was engaging. As someone who can be a bit slow to warm up in social settings, I appreciated how fun, low pressure and intentional Audrey and Araceli were in structuring the event. We rotated tables for every course and exchanged stories, and the flow was natural and easy. I would definitely recommend attending a Love in San Miguel event and know I will enjoy being involved in this growing community, especially for the social connections with like-minded people!”
OR
“It was such a lovely experience. Meeting new people and sharing such intimate and special moments was unique. The food was excellent and plentiful. I connected with several people and we exchanged numbers. I would absolutely do it again.”
DG
“Last night I attended the first dinner with Love in San Miguel. I was pleasantly surprised at how the evening progressed. The group was divided into several tables with six people per table. This made for a comfortable, stress-free way of interacting with the group. The ice was broken by allowing each individual to briefly discuss a given topic, which stimulated interesting discussion among the group. Once everyone had an opportunity to tell their story, we would change tables and pair up with new people. For me, it was a new and innovative way of meeting a variety of people in a short period of time. This new organization brings a fresh and stress-free way to bring the community together. We all exchanged numbers at the end of each session, so I don’t feel like there were any missed opportunities.”
JC
“Love in SMA has been a great way to meet even more kindred spirits and build community in the beautiful, global crossroads of San Miguel de Allende.”
CJ
“Love in San Miguel has given me the opportunity to meet a diverse group of people with rich life experiences and diverse backgrounds. If you’re looking to make new connections, meet fun and interesting people and experience some of the beauty and joy of being in San Miguel, give Love in San Miguel a try!”
AK
“The perfect organization for meeting like-minded people with shared interests and similar life stages, not just mingling with strangers in a free for all crowd. I especially love connecting with bilingual Mexican professionals, artists, and fascinating people who broaden my horizons and offer a richer experience beyond the typical tourist bubble.”
