Founder · Love in San Miguel
"I'm a collector and curator, not of art, but of people."
For more than 35 years, I've built communities, hosted gatherings, made introductions, and helped people find friendship, belonging, and sometimes love. I started my first singles organization at age 18. Since then I've created countless dinner parties, retreats, networking groups, and volunteer projects, all designed around one simple idea: life is better when you find your people.
Professionally, I spent much of my career helping organizations tell their stories and build community. I was the director of TEDxSanDiego, where I curated more than 80 talks and introduced thousands of remarkable people to one another. In 2018, I gave a TEDx talk, How to Be a Matchmaker in Work, Life and Love, which has been viewed nearly 200,000 times.
But my favorite work has always happened around a dinner table.
I'm divorced, the proud mother of three grown sons, and in 2025 I fulfilled a 30-year dream and moved full-time to San Miguel de Allende. Like many who arrive here, I came excited and hopeful, and I came alone. I quickly discovered that finding a great lecture, concert, restaurant, or dance class in San Miguel is easy. Finding your people is harder.
So I built the thing I wished existed: a curated community where thoughtful people meet the right people, on purpose. That's Love in San Miguel, and I'd love for you to be part of it.
